CONTINUOUS FLIGHT AUGER

The continuous flight auger consists of a hollow stem with flighting which extends the full length of the stem. This tool is used to install continuous auger cast piles by drilling the tool to required depth and withdrawing the tool while inserting grout into the resulting shaft.

This tools is usually mounted on a top drive drill rig with an integral computer system which controls the grout input to match the stem withdrawal to insure complete filling of the drilled hole.
