| OMEGA PILE DISPLACEMENT TOOL
Omega piles are a full displacement cast
in situ pile system. The tool utilizes a partial flight
auger with a displacement section which compacts and
improves the density of the sidewalls of the hole. This
improves the sidewall friction and the load carrying
capacity of the cast pile.
The tool is mounted on a BG-28 or similar rig which
utilizes an integral computer to control grout injection
as the tool is advanced or withdrawn from the hole.
