The BG-28 is a hydraulic top drive drill
similar to the BG-40.
It has a weight of 215,000 lbs. and a torque output
of 203,000 ft-lbs. With its smaller size it is utilized
in more confined situations. This rig is capable of
drilling a maximum diameter of 1.8 M with a depth of
131 ft.
This rig is particularly suited for use with soil mixing,
soil cutter work, and augercast piles. Its integral
computer system allows for precise disbursement of grout
with drill tool advancement and withdrawal.
