Oscillators / Rotators

For installing and extracting single or double-wall casing for shafts and secant pile walls, Malcolm Drilling primarily uses oscillators, rotators, and segmental casing. This method prevents the side wall of the borehole from collapsing during installation and concrete placement, ensuring the construction of the highest quality shaft. This casing installation method is also vibration-free, even for the largest shaft diameters, which is essential when working near vibration-sensitive structures like bridges, historic buildings, or high-tech laboratories. The company owns equipment capable of working with temporary or permanent casings up to twelve feet in diameter and has successfully installed large-diameter shafts over 300 feet deep.
