We recently completed the installation of temporary shoring for the Stevens Creek Office Development Phase II in Santa Clara. The soldier piles were installed in soil-mixed columns. Some adjacent properties did not allow tie-backs, so the soldier piles were restrained by a combination of tie-backs, cross-lot bracing, and rakers. The retained height was 30 feet. The owner of the project is Peery Arrillaga, and the general contractor is Vance Brown.
