Malcolm Drilling provided the owner of this project with a value engineering solution to the original shoring concept which resulted in a savings of $1.5 million. This revised concept utilized cutter soil mixing (CSM) techniques to provide a continuous secant wall for the shoring system.
Malcolm Drilling worked diligently with the construction and design team to design and launch the first permanent CSM wall in the State of Washington.
