Building Stability at the Coast: Hillcrest By The Sea
Situated along the picturesque coast of Surfside, Florida, Hillcrest by the Sea will feature 14 high-end condominiums and an underground parking garage. Malcolm Drilling was subcontracted to design and install the deep foundation system for this 11-story luxury condo.
Deep Soil Mixing was employed across the entire building footprint to facilitate dry excavation for the parking garage. CFA piles, drilled to depths exceeding 100 feet, provided critical support for the structure and served as temporary tie-downs during the excavation phase. Additionally, chemical grouting was utilized to underpin the neighboring retaining wall, ensuring stability and minimizing disruption.
