Position: Project Manager
Location: Irwindale, California
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Estimate and manage civil projects with deep foundations, retention systems, ground improvement, and dewatering scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess site conditions.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
- Prepare take-offs, cost estimates, bid proposals, and budgets.
- Negotiate construction contracts with legal support.
- Prepare project submittals including design calculations and specialty equipment specifications.
- Manage field quality and cost control.
- Implement required safety measures.
- Prepare project billings and close out project paperwork.
- Attend company-wide training.
Qualifications for Project Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
- Basic understanding of construction methods.
- Ability to travel to various job sites within the district.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- 2 years of project management experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
