Malcolm Drilling’s Expertise in Deep Foundations for CCWRD Project

Through Phases 3 & 4 of the Dual Media Filters CMGC Project, the Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD) in Las Vegas, Nevada aimed to enhance their existing facilities. This project involved constructing a new Filters Building, expanding UV Disinfection, and installing a Filter Influent Pump Station. As part of the deep foundations for the new structure, three- and four-foot diameter drilled piles, reaching depths of up to 80 feet, were utilized. Malcolm Drilling’s suggestion to use CFA/Augercast methods resulted in the owner saving approximately 40% on costs and achieving a 50% reduction in the schedule for pile installation.
