Installing Vacuum Wellpoints at the Thatcher Yard Housing Project.
Malcolm Drilling was contracted to install a vacuum wellpoint system for the Thatcher Yard Housing Project. The Thatcher Yard Project provides affordable and supportive housing for senior citizens and formerly homeless families. Malcolm was contracted to drill and install 173 vacuum wellpoints around the perimeter of the project in order for the groundwater table to be lowered by 2 feet while the GC excavated. We achieved this drawdown within the time frame the contractor needed while efficiently converting our pumps to single-phase pumps. Malcolm’s crew was able to complete the work on schedule while being safe and injury-free.
