Diplomat Tower 100 – Hallandale Beach, FL

Installing driven piles on an batter, gives them a distinct advantage with respect to their ability to carry lateral loads. Battered piles carry lateral loads primarily in axial compression and/or tension while vertical piles carry lateral loads in shear and bending. This was the case at The Diplomat Tower 100 (28 Story apartment building) in Hallandale Beach, FL which tasked us with installing a mix of vertical and battered Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) Piles.
